WHO WE ARE

This is our story

At The Friends of Chula Vista Parks and Recreation, our mission is to empower children and the under-served communities in the city of Chula Vista by providing them with transformative recreational and learning experiences. We are dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating equal opportunities for all children, ensuring they have access to the resources and support necessary to thrive.

Through our programs, we aim to foster holistic development by offering a diverse range of recreational activities, educational workshops, and immersive learning opportunities. By combining the power of play, exploration, and education, we seek to inspire curiosity, ignite the imagination, and cultivate essential life skills in the children we serve.

We believe that every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and excel, regardless of their socioeconomic background. By engaging with our community partners, volunteers, and dedicated team, we strive to create safe and inclusive spaces where children can discover their unique strengths, build self-confidence, and form lifelong connections with their peers.

Through our commitment to collaboration and innovation, we actively seek partnerships with local schools, businesses, and organizations to expand our reach and impact. By working together, we can create a sustainable network of support, ensuring that children from under-served communities in Chula Vista have the tools and opportunities they need to unlock their full potential.

Together, let's transform lives, inspire dreams, and cultivate a thriving community where every child has the opportunity to flourish.
