Pathway to Play: A Brighter Future for Foster and Homeless Children in Chula Vista Elementary School
We believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience the joys of summer camp, regardless of their financial circumstances. By funding camperships, we enable these children to engage in recreational activities, build social skills, and create lasting memories in a supportive and enriching environment.
A program we proudly support is the "Learn to Swim, Operation Splash" initiative, specifically designed for children attending Title I schools.
The Friends also partners with The STEAM Ahead Foundation supporting the annual Game of Throws Event. Participants in this event learn mathematical and manual skills by designing and building a trebuchet and participate in a pumpkin tossing tournament.
